Back in 1988 the vaccine for polio was developed. After 25 years the number of cases of polio has dropped by approximately 99%. This figure is one that Rotary International, and everyone else involved in the fight, should be proud of, but there is still work to be done. One more push and a polio-free world could become a reality.
