Ryan Morris introduced Dr. Richard Moen, Caring Hands Dental Clinic – a community dental clinic for the underprivileged. Caring Hands Dental Clinic offers complete General Dentistry services to citizens ages 1 and above, that are served by Medical Assistance or MnCare, through MA direct or PrimeWest, Delta BluePlus, Medica and Health Partners. The clinic also offers a sliding fee scale for people that qualify. Their pediatric program includes providing superior dental care and education to children starting at age 1 at the clinic and through the outreach clinics such as Headstart and area schools. Their Mobile Outreach Hygiene Services include digital x-rays, cleaning, exam and fluoride treatment. Mobile Outreach Hygiene Clinics provide digital x-rays, cleanings, exams and fluoride treatments to residents of area nursing homes. This eliminates the need for costly, sometimes stressful transportation. Caring Hands receives earned reimbursements for the dental services provided. These funds are through the State of Minnesota’s Department of Human Services.
