Tom Jacobson introduced Sara Carlson, Mayor of Alexandria. The mayor is the CEO for the City of Alexandria. Sara has worked on the budget committee with the city council and the city administrator. The City of Alexandria wants to be wise and smart with city dollars. Streets are a priority with a five year and 10 year plan in place. 50th Avenue permits are now in place so that street project is planned for 2015. The Broadway project is winding down and will be targeted for completion by October 10. The Broadway Project celebration will be October 17.
