At its February 21, 2013, meeting, the Alexandria Rotary Club welcomed Jeff Bartholomew, director of the local YMCA. He spoke to the group on the success of the YMCA in its first two years and a new, $2.5 million capital campaign that will construct new child watch and multi-use space as well as outdoor fields at the facility. If the campaign is successful, the YMCA expects to have the new space available for use by January 1, 2014.
